Audrey Hepburn possessed truly elfin beauty. For this portrait I used one well known black and white photograph. Her face is very expressive despite its regularity. Just few pastel colors are needed to underline her fragility.
About Valerie Ornstein
Born in Slovakia Lives and works in Munich in Germany Painting is one of my preferred means of expression. I paint typically in the tradition of van Gogh to Kokoschka with occasional experiments. Currently I am mostly interested in capturing animal movement and portrait studies. Since I admire and appreciate the beauty of the nature, I try to capture the most impressive sights on my photographs, which are often also the basis for my paintings.
